Our trip to Bologna in November 2013 uncovered a beautiful Zani family tree going back to 800 AD. It was made by Silvio Costa for an Ercole Zani - who was a famous traveler and writer in the 17th century. His grandfather (also Ercole) was also an ancestor of our Marco Aurelio Zani
